Department Psychological & Brain Sciences, Chair Compensation $53,000.00 to Negotiable Annual   General Description: The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is seeking a 9-month, non-tenure earning, Visiting Instructor of Psychology. Position responsibilities include a 4/4 teaching load (or its equivalent), with some service expectations. This position will be a 1-year appointment with a 9-month contract. Supervisor: This position reports to the Department Chair. Working Hours: Varies Supervision Exercised: This is not a supervisory role. Required Licensure: N/A Required Qualifications: Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Psychology, although strong ABD and Master’s candidates will be considered Strong interest and ability in teaching undergraduate courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, and upper division courses based upon the candidate’s expertise Preferred Qualifications / Skills: PhD in Psychology Statement(s) of Understanding This position requires a background check.
