Water Truck Operator

What You'll Be Doing Operate water truck to control dust on haul roads and work areas Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of vehicle Safely navigate plant site and communicate with team members Monitor water levels and refill as needed throughout the shift Follow all safety protocols and traffic guidelines on site What Are We Looking For Ability to safely operate large vehicles in active work zones Strong awareness of surroundings and commitment to safety Effective communication and teamwork skills Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to changing site needs Basic understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer $20.00 to $25.00 per hour Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
