Responsibilities

Request information from or provide information to the employee, employer, providers, attorneys, co-workers, MN WC Division, third parties, and others as directed. (via telephone, mail, or fax)
Form completion
Check issuance and related autopay entry as appropriate.
Calculation and entry of reserves on assigned Permanently and Totally Disabled claims.
Maintain a current diary on assigned Permanently and Totally Disabled claims.
Determine accuracy of employee reimbursement requests.
Accurate and timely electronic documentation of your work activity
Resolve issues and inquiries regarding medical treatment bills.
Resolve claims related address, coding, vendor, and accounting issues.
Maintain organization of claim files.
Provide professional customer service to all internal and external customers.
Additional duties as necessitated by changes in staffing and workflow.
May perform other functions as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum one-year work experience or post-high school education.
Work experience should demonstrate organizational skills, time management skills, multi-tasking skills, verbal and written skills, and detail-orientation.
Basic PC skills and a working knowledge of Windows environment.
Ability to type 40 wpm
10-Key by touch
Knowledge of basic math functions with 98% accuracy.
Education
High school diploma or GED
