Copper Mountain Resort is a vacation destination located 75 miles west of Denver, Colorado in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Job Title: Human Resources Specialist Job Status: Seasonal Compensation and Benefits: Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $18.50 to 20.40+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.   Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e., food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.  Job Summary:   You will be one of the first points of contact for our “guests” and should have a cheerful, helpful attitude with every interaction and present yourself as a resource for all other employees. The Employee Experience Specialist should set the example of how an employee of Copper Mountain should conduct themselves and be the example for our grooming and appearance standards. The right person for this position will also be professional with excellent guest service skills, a self-starter who initiates projects and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with varying tasks at any time. You must be able to perform a variety of administrative duties, assist with uniform distribution and laundering, as well as support the employee housing team. This front-line position allows you to develop strong working relationships with management and other front-line employees at the resort, creating opportunity to further grow leadership skills.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Can shift attention quickly or attend to more than one task at a time.  Initiates projects, is a self-starter, shows productivity regardless of supervision.  Maintains productivity and quality during the workday.  Can adapt quickly and easily when processes change.  Monitors the shared email inboxes to ensure timely responses – HR, Recruitment, Gear Up and Housing.  Is professional and focused on solutions when a customer is frustrated; independently resolves conflicts before they escalate.  Is committed to creating a positive experience out of every interaction with our employees and guests.  Adapts approaches as needed to deliver quality service to employees with various backgrounds, styles & perspectives.  Ensure all work areas are locked when not in use and at the end of every shift before clocking out.  Will process credit card transactions following our accounting reporting guidelines.  Runs all daily closing reports and internal/external mail in a timely and appropriate manner according to our standard operating procedure.  Actively participates in company meetings, trainings, and orientations as required.  Follows all Standard Operating Procedures and our Employee Experience Division Service Level Standards.  Treats all conversations as confidential.  Maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information (ie. wage data, medical information, personnel files, EEO information)  Ensures appointment sign up calendar is up to date with accurate time slots.   Learns quickly and applies new information on the job.  Knows and complies with all company policies, regulations, and laws relevant to job.  Ensures all phone and outgoing email messages are current and with relevant business information.  Consistently follows employee issues through to resolution, overcoming challenges and getting assistance as needed.  Takes full responsibility for own mistakes & initiates solutions to fix the mistake.  Is reliable and dependable; is present and on time for work; returns promptly from breaks.  Communicates clearly.  Creates a credible impression.  As a member of the Employee Experience team, understands that we are held to the highest degree of Grooming Standards, Dress Code, Uniform Standards and ALL other company policies.  Maintains productivity and quality during the workday. When work processes change, adapts quickly.  Manages time effectively so that all commitments and deadlines are met.  Is willing and able to acknowledge when other members of the Employee Experience team need assistance and offers help without being asked.  Maintains and takes pride in a clean work environment.  Proactively seeks additional opportunities when not busy with routine work.  Demonstrates knowledge of Copper Mountain’s structure, mission & values.  Views change positively; focuses on the benefits of change to help others adapt.  Answers the phones within three rings and directs calls in a timely and proficient manner.   Greets and provides information to managers, supervisors, employees, guests and applicants entering the office.  Is able and willing to participate in Front Line Assist when needed / required (helping in operations).  Employee Experience/HR: Processes onboarding tasks fully for employees/volunteers, including I-9 forms, W-4s, Employee Handbook and policy acknowledgments in Workday, and background check authorizations, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete before issuing an employee ID/pass.  Monitors the Workday task inbox, processes sensitive tasks, and recognizes when issues fall outside the scope of the role.  Verifies I-9 forms through E-Verify in compliance with applicable federal requirements and U.S. Department of Justice guidelines.  Assists with questions regarding pay and other sensitive information  Employee Housing: Assists with employees moving into housing and provides an overview of wha
