Job Title: Winter 26/27: Snowmaking Level 2 Job Status: Seasonal Compensation and Benefits: Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $22.00 to $24.40+. actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.  Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts.  Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.    Job Summary: Accountable for carrying out assignments from the crew foreman. Includes making quality snow in the highest volumes possible, know and understand snowmaking system, both operations and maintenance, operate and maintain department equipment and tools. Provide training and assistance to Level I Snowmakers based on prior Snowmaking experience.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate snowmaking equipment safely and efficiently.  Offer continual training and assistance of the standard operational and safety practices to the Level I Snowmakers.  Make snow according to all standard operating practices and safety procedures as instructed and or outlined in the manuals set forth by Copper Mountain Resort.  Operate all transportation vehicles as per the standard operating procedures.  Undertake general building maintenance and housekeeping on a daily basis.  Maintain snowmaking equipment as directed.  Ensure slopes are properly marked and or signed when snowmaking is in progress on open slopes.  Assist in effective communication with the other departments, when required.  Assist with all other duties assigned.  Overtime may be required.  Other Duties as Assigned:  This job description is an overview of the scope of responsibilities for this job and is not intended to be an inclusive list of job tasks and expectations.
