We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across our multi-facility operations, including office spaces, production floors, and machine shop areas.   Key Responsibilities   Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across multiple facilities including kitchens, conference rooms, breakrooms, production floors, and machine shop areas   Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces, dust and wipe down desks, furniture, and office equipment   Empty trash receptacles and manage recycling disposal daily   Operate cleaning machinery including carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and other industrial equipment   Monitor and refill supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and breakrooms; report inventory needs   Support special projects including office moves, event setup/breakdown, and deep cleaning initiatives   Safety Requirements   Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, masks, goggles) when handling cleaning chemicals   Follow proper use, storage, and disposal procedures for all cleaning chemicals; maintain familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS)   Use "wet floor" signage and secure rugs to prevent slips, trips, and falls   Follow proper lifting techniques and use equipment (dollies, carts) to prevent injury   Safely operate and inspect electrical cleaning equipment   Report safety concerns immediately and follow emergency procedures   Complete bloodborne pathogen training (provided after hire) and participate in ongoing safety education   Qualifications   1-5 years of custodial or janitorial experience   Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods   Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment   Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently   Reliable attendance and punctuality   U.S. Citizenship required   Experience in manufacturing or production environments (preferred)   Schedule   Primary: Monday–Friday, 3pm - 11:30pm   Flexibility Required:  Evening, night, or weekend shifts may be required based on business needs   Pay range for this role $20 — $27 USD What's in it for you: Benefits:  Competitive total compensation package  Comprehensive benefit package options include medical, dental, vision, life, and more. 401k with company-match  4 weeks of paid time off each year 12 annual company holidays Why Join Zone 5 Technologies?
