We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Manufacturing Inventory Control Specialist to oversee inventory accuracy, material tracking, and inventory transactions within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal inventory levels, support production schedules, minimize shortages and excess stock, and maintain accurate records across warehouse and production operations.   This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with inventory systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with purchasing, production, warehouse, and quality teams.   Key Responsibilities   Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods    Perform cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and inventory reconciliations    Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances    Ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions in ERP/MRP systems    Coordinate material movement between warehouse and production departments    Support production planning by ensuring material availability    Track inventory usage trends and recommend process improvements    Maintain inventory records, documentation, and reporting metrics    Collaborate with purchasing and supply chain teams to manage stock levels and avoid shortages    Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and inventory control procedures    Assist in implementing inventory management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives    Generate inventory reports for management review and operational planning    Qualifications   Education & Experience   High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred    2+ years of inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred    Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred    Skills & Competencies   Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse operations    Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms    Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting tools    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills    Ability to analyze data and solve inventory discrepancies efficiently    Excellent communication and teamwork skills    Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment    Basic understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices is a plus    Physical Requirements   Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout warehouse and production areas    Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds occasionally    Ability to operate inventory scanning equipment and computers    Schedule   Full-time    Monday through Friday    Overtime and occasional weekends may be required based on production demands    Pay range for this role $25 — $27 USD What's in it for you: Benefits:  Competitive total compensation package  Comprehensive benefit package options include medical, dental, vision, life, and more. 401k with company-match  4 weeks of paid time off each year 12 annual company holidays Why Join Zone 5 Technologies?
