Advisory Associate

Aurora is seeking an Associate in our Advisory team in Austin. You will help shape client’s decision making to accelerate the energy transition. You will play an active role in all aspects of client engagement: helping identify issues, forming hypotheses, conducting analysis, and synthesizing conclusions into recommendations, while also managing workstreams and smaller projects and driving internal initiatives. You will develop data-driven strategic insights into the energy transition for both public and private sector clients. The successful applicant will combine an interest in energy markets and policy, performance in team-oriented environments, and analytical capabilities. They will apply their interpersonal skills to build connected, cooperative project teams. They will be given the responsibility to chart the path of their teams through projects, and opportunities to influence the thinking of organizations across the energy sector. Over time, they will be able to grow into industry experts under the guidance of directors with deep experience addressing major strategic issues.  This position suits an experienced analyst or associate from a top-tier strategic or economic consultancy, energy company, financial services company, or knowledge-focused firm or institution. The success candidate will combine technical ability with a strong track record of leadership and dependable performance in team-oriented environments.
