Job Title: Customer Service Representative Location: La Verne, CA Duration: 6+ Months Job Summary  Responsible for processing international order, quotations, returns, commissions, credits, invoices, and other export shipping documents General Functions Using telephone, calculator, PC, written procedures and product knowledge for proper orders Making decisions regarding order priority, pricing, modes of transportation, product identification, product sourcing, etc. Answering pricing and product inquiries, order and item status received via email, telephone, FAX, and mail from customers, dealers, and subsidiaries Processing emergency orders  This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all of the "essential functions" for purposes of the ADA Expected Areas of Competence (i.e. KSAs) Excellent telephone skills and the ability to handle multiple daily telephone calls in a positive manner Ability to develop and maintain positive relationship with dealers, customers, subsidiaries, U.S. divisions, and outside service companies (banks, transportation companies, and freight forwarders) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to write legibly with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation Ability to analyze situations and resolve problems (i.e., consolidate shipments from various suppliers and ensure documentation for export is correct) Effective working in teams to achieve the department’s objectives Education Requirements  Skill Requirements Experience using a PC; Working knowledge of Word and Excel Working knowledge of ZDCS Keying speed of 7000 kdph with 95% accuracy; typing speed of 40 wpm with 95% accuracy; Knowledge of client major product groupings, including product lines at other divisions Must be able to pass a background and drug screen
