We are looking for a Registered Nurse Instructor to join our team! We have openings for Full-time, part-time, and per-diem.
No Previous Teaching Exp is required!
You will:
Teach and supervise nursing students in classroom and clinical settings, focusing on obstetrics
Collaborate with faculty to develop, administer, and grade course materials and examinations
Evaluate student performance and maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and clinical skills
Participate in curriculum development, quality improvement initiatives, and program assessment
Orient and mentor new faculty members in both theory and clinical instruction
Utilize adult learning principles and integrate technology in teaching methods
Maintain current knowledge of nursing practices, technologies, and safety regulations in obstetrics
Participate in faculty meetings, committee activities, and student advising
Ensure clinical assignments meet both student learning objectives and facility requirements
Submit required reports and forms to the program director in a timely manner
Maintain professional development and contribute to the nursing program's mission and goals
Hold a valid, active license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing
Master of Nursing or higher degree from an accredited college or university that includes course work in nursing or education, administration. OB, Pediatrics or Psychiatry
At least four years’ experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
A year of Clinical experience within the last five years (Clinical teaching applies toward direct patient care). Clinically competent as defined in CCR Section 1420(c)
Expertise in one of the following areas of nursing – Psychiatric, Geriatrics, Med/Surg, Pediatrics or OB-Gyn
