About the Role   We are   seeking   a   skilled Account Manager   to join our   dynamic   Surety   team in our Los Angeles (Woodland Hills), California office. Key   Responsibilities   Include   Serve as p rimary   client contact for   day-to-day   bonding questions   Buil d   and promote strong relationships with business partners, carriers and all stakeholders vested in the process   Quality control data in Epic, Erlon, and   OneDrive   including client data, surety contacts, bonds, rates, commissions     Communicate   with clients and underwriters through the request process, including the provision of proper underwriting materials   Responds to accounting   and invoice   issues with   appropriate adjustments/corrections   within prescribed timelines   Oversee Account Associate work for accuracy and quality     Assist   in creating proposals and presentations     Compile and/or approve complete and   accurate   submissions and deliver to underwriters ;   Provide   timely   responses to underwriter submission inquiries    Request and review client documents such as financial statements, work-in-progress, aging of receivables schedules    Conduct   i n-depth data analyses     Maintain knowledge of carrier underwriting appetites and contacts and recommend   appropriate markets   for client programs     Additional   responsibilities as   required   Skills & Experience   That   Lead   to Success:   Strong technical Surety knowledge   Minimum of  5 years   of   industry/broking experience   Proven ability to p resent and clearly explain information to clients   Proven a bility to clearly explain problems/concerns to co-workers, supervisors and/or agency principals and suggest/recommend solutions   Data entry experience as well as excellent interpersonal skills   Competence in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Adobe   Task and detail oriented   Team player with   demonstrated   professional communication and organizational skills   Additional/Preferred Qualifications:   High   school diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred   Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation   required   Property & Casualty insurance license(s) or equivalent state-specific licensing required Notary Public Ability to travel as   required   What You Can Expect   From   Us:   Comprehensive Benefits Package    Collaborative   and innovative   environment   Culture of continuous learning and professional development   Competitive salary package   401k with   above-average   employer match   of   up to 5% of your salary   Leadership training and support   Work/Life Balance (Summer Fridays, flexible work   arrangements   and mental health services)   Education and Student Loan Assistance   American Global   is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.   We   provide   equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran, marital, domestic partner status, or other legally protected status.   We welcome applications from all and provide individuals with   disabilities   reasonable adjustments to   participate   in the job application, interview process and to perform essential job functions once onboard.
