In this role, you will oversee daily operations within these specialized areas, ensuring accurate, timely testing while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. You’ll support workflow optimization, instrument performance, and quality programs, while mentoring staff, guiding best practices, and contributing to process improvements and new technology initiatives. Job Requirements, Prerequisites and Essential Functions: Job Specifications: Education: Must have a BA/BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science, or other related science. Experience: Minimum of completed pre-licensure training in California State Department Public Health accredited training program. Minimum of five years of general laboratory experience in an acute care hospital with a minimum of one year in a Specialist or Supervisory position preferred License and Certifications: Lic Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS-L) required at hire. Integrative Agitation Management (IAMTAC) required within 30 days of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred at hire.
