Schedule Requirements: Rotating schedule with a 4 day work week and a 10 hour work day
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 9AM to 7:30PM
Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9AM to 7:30PM
Location: Austin Cultivation & Production Facility

IN A NUTSHELL…
The Production Shift Lead works closely with MIP Lab Supervisor(s) to ensure the production team is able to adhere to production schedules as written by management and prepare teams with product material and/or packaging material for the shift. The Production Shift Lead is responsible for converting and creating packages in METRC and LeafLogix as required for sampling and package creation.
This role is with Goodblend, one of the renowned retail brands under the Parallel umbrella. Parallel is one of the largest multi-state cannabis companies in the world, owning and operating in three markets; Florida (Surterra Wellness), Massachusetts (NETA), and Texas (Goodblend).
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Follow Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state marijuana regulations
Responsible for completing all QC Checklists, Count Ledgers, placing PO’s for Raw Materials and ensuring all other ancillary needs are met
Helps to identify any gaps in efficiency or training and/or breaches in protocol that warrant re-training and helps Supervisor to enforce all SOPs
Provides personalized feedback about employee performance to management in preparation for performance evaluations
Assist with opening/closing tasks and production/packaging tasks as needed, with a focus on timeliness, cleanliness, and attention to detail
Works closely with MIP Lab Supervisor regarding weekly production demands
Works with Warehouse staff to ensure all packaging materials needed for daily production are available
Works closely with MIP Lab staff to ensure accuracy and quality of production, packaging and labeling of all Finished Goods
Holds daily Pre-Shift meeting with MIP Lab team; Communicates regularly with Supervisor(s) for updated information and to discuss employee feedback
Communicates with Inventory Specialists regarding flow of finished product to the Vault
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING
Required
Age 21 or over
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
Kitchen experience
1-3 years’ experience working in manufacturing and/or the cannabis industry
Familiarity with quality control, policy and procedure and documentation
The person in this position frequently communicates with other employees and various levels of management. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Ability to lead a team and set up tasks throughout the day.
Ability to multitask and be aware of multiple active processes.
Preferred
A.A., B.A./B.S in related field
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Constantly operates a computer and manufacturing equipment.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time (bending, lifting, pouring, typing)
Must be able to lift to 100lbs.
Hand and eye coordination.
