Sevagan M KRG Technologies, Inc., sevagan(at)krgtech.com 25000 Avenue Stanford, Suite #243, Valencia, CA 91355 Direct : 661-367-8000 Ext : 513 Responsibilities: • ‪ Design and implement configuration management best practices for software deployment • Build, Deploy, and Manage AWS services (Cloudformation, EBS, EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, etc.) • Version control and source code administration • Manage and design build and deployment pipelines • Maintenance and upgrades of our cloud environments • Monitoring tools and deployment automation development • Diagnose complex systems issues with multiple influencing factors • Work closely with the development team on upcoming features to determine correct infrastructure and related tools. • Assist the support team with escalated customer issues • Research and recommend internal tool improvement and development • Develop scripts that support automation, innovation, and security initiatives • Incident response to system alerts during local day hours • Potential evening and weekend incident response may be required • Work effectively with teams across Whole Foods to support operational best practices Must have/Basic Qualifications: • 8+ years experience working in a web development and/or operations roles • 6+ years experience in Linux System Administration • 4+ years experience scripting with bash, Ruby, Python and/or similar • 4+ years experience working in Amazon Web Services. Knowledge of AWS CLI a must. • 4+ years experience setting up and monitoring uptime and performance management tools (Nagios, New Relic, Runscope) • 2+ years experience managing databases SQL and/or NOSQL (MySQL and Mongo preferred) • 2+ years experience in virtualization tools like Vagrant and Docker • Experience with Continuous Development/Deployment/Integration design and best practices • Experience managing and working with configuration management tools (Chef, Salt Stack, Ansible) • Experience in Agile development practices (Kanban or Scrum) • Ability to see opportunities for improvement, take ownership and work closely with others to drive operational improvement • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to correlate system behaviors based on known interdependencies between those systems • Ability to handle ambiguity, embracing change and helping others see it as an opportunity and able to stay focused on goals while adapting to change Preferred Qualifications: • Experienced with SaaS-based vendor solutions • Experienced with Atlassian as an Agile development management tool (JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo) • Knowledge of cyber-security best practices • Experience with API management • Experience with various application architectures All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
